Day 1: HCMC (D)

Arrival Tan Son Nhat airport. Sightseeing of Ho Chi Minh City: Notre Dame Cathedral (built in 1880), the Central Post Office (in 1886), the City Hall, the Opera House and down town square. O/N in HCMC

 

Day 2: HCMC CITY TOUR (B-L-D)

City tour: visit the Big Market (Cho Lon) and Thien Hau temple (Chinese Temple) in China town, the Reunification Palace (Or Former Presidential Palace), the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the War Remnants museum and the Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in HCMC

                      

Day 3: HCMC– CU CHI – TAY NINH – HCMC (B-L-D)

Excursion to the colourful Cao Dai Holy See of Cao Dai religion in Tay Ninh, a combination of 5 religions (Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Catholicism, and Islam) and the impressive Cu Chi tunnels system of the most violent battlefields in the Vietnam War. Overnight in HCMC

 

Day 4: HCMC – MY THO – HCMC (B-L-D)

Excursion to My Tho. Visit the colourful Vinh Trang Pagoda. Take a wonderful boat ride on the Mekong River, visiting local houses and workshops of coconut candies, fruit gardens, sampan ride through small canals. Lunch with the Vietnamese Southern style (elephant ear fish, big headed prawn, spring rolls, etc).

Saigon River Dinner Cruise. O/N in HCMC

 

Day 5: HCMC – NHA TRANG (B-L-D)

Drive to Nha Trang. Enjoy various landscapes of plantations, coast, mountains, rice fields, etc. O/N in Nha Trang.

 

Day 6: NHA TRANG (B-L-D)

City tour Nha Trang: the Long Son Pagoda, Dam market. Proceed to the harbour, visit the Oceanic Institute. Sail in one of the most beautiful bays on earth, to Mun Island and beach for swimming, snorkeling, water sports. O/N in Nha Trang

 

Day 7:  NHA TRANG – QUY NHON (B-L-D)

Visit the Ponagar temples built from the 8th century, and enjoy a pleasant mud bath at the Ponagar hot spring Transfer on to Quy Nhon

 

Day 8:  QUY NHON – HOI AN (B-L-D)

Transfer to Hoian a very charming ancient town, a World Heritage site. Stop to visit My Lai memorial, one of the most violent war crimes during the Vietnam War. Overnight in Hoian

 

Day 9: HOI AN (B-L-D)

Pleasant city walk in Hoian, visit a museum, a Chinese temple, an old Chinese merchant’s house, the famous Japanese pagoda bridge, and many beautiful shops. Enjoy cycling in the countryside, swimming in the South China Sea, and shopping. Overnight in Hoi An

 

Day 10: HOIAN – MY SON HOLY PLACE (B-L-D)

Excursion to My Son Holy Land, the former Religious capital of the Cham people, World Cultural Heritage Site with the scenic landscapes and mysterious Cham arts and architecture

Free time for shopping and relaxation. O/N in Hoian.

                         

Day 11: HOI AN – DA NANG – HUE (B-L-D)

Drive to Da Nang with an interesting climb on the Marble mountains, visit the marble handicraft village, and the Cham arts museum. Transfer to Hue, enjoy city tour: visit Hue Royal Citadel, Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue

 

Day 12: HUE (B-L-D)

Full day enjoy Hue’s typical features: peaceful, traditional and beautiful.

Activities: enjoy a lovely boat trip on the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda, Tu Duc tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb. Take an excellent motorbike trip with drivers to interesting traditional villages and beautiful sceneries around Hue. Overnight in Hue

 

Day 13: HUE – QUANG BINH (B-L-D)

Transfer to Quang Binh, stop at historical sites of Ben Hai River and Hien Luong bridge. Enjoy a scenic boat ride to visit the Phong Nha Caves, another World Natural Heritage site, one of the longest caves in the World. O/N in Dong Hoi Town.

 

Day 14: QUANG BINH – NINH BINH (B-L-D)

Transfer to Ninh Binh well-known as Halong Bay on land. Overnight in Ninh Binh

 

Day 15: NINH BINH – HANOI (B-L-D)

Visit the Hoa Lu temples built from the 11th century to worship King Dinh and King Le, enjoy a scenic rowing boat ride along the Ngo Dong stream which flows through 3 lime-stone caves. Transfer to Hanoi

 

Day 16:  HANOI (B/L/D)

Hanoi City tour: Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Ethnic meusum, Temple of Literature (The 1st University of Vietnam), Fine Arts museum, the Old Quarter, water puppet show. O/N in Hanoi

                       

Day 17: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B-L-D)

Transfer to Halong Bay, a World Natural Heritage site. Check in aboard a deluxe junk and start cruising. Enjoy fabulous seafood, stunning sceneries, and water activities: swimming, kayaking (exclusive), and fishing. Overnight aboard

 

Day 18: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B-L-D)

Morning continue the cruise along simply gorgeous sceneries including a very delicious lunch on board. Drive back to Hanoi, boarding on the night train after dinner – 4 pax share a deluxe air-conditioning cabin.

 

DAY 19: DEPARTURE (B)

Transfer to the airport for departure home sweet home
