INTENSIVE VIETNAM FOR DEAF TRAVELLERS 10 DAYS
Day 1: HOME – HANOI
Arrival in Hanoi, the ancient intricate capital of Vietnam, meet your deaf guide and transfer to a hotel for check-in (official time: 14:00).
Enjoy a trishaw ride in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi Old Quarter and walk around along the 36 guilded streets.

Day 2: HANOI (B)
Full day for exploring the fascinating city of Hanoi where old and new things blend together, Vietnamese, Chinese and French cultures mix together.
Activities: a pleasant walk around the peaceful Ho Chi Minh area, visiting HCM’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday, Oct - Nov), HCM’s stilt house, Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, visit a factory producing handicrafts run by deaf people in Hanoi.
Afternoon visit the Ethnology museum, the beautiful Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam.

Day 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B-L-D)
Morning check out the hotel, transfer to Halong Bay, a World Natural Heritage site.
Upon arrival, check in a deluxe sharing Cruise and start cruising. Enjoy fabulous seafood, stunning sceneries, and water activities: swimming, kayaking (excluded), and fishing.

Day 4: HALONG BAY - HANOI - HUE (B-L)
6h00-6h30: Practice Tai Chi on the Sundeck
7h00-7h30: Start your day with a light breakfast. Visit a cave. Free time for relax until brunch onboard.
12.00: transfer back to Hanoi airport to take a flight to Hue
Upon arrival in Hue, transfer to check in a hotel

Day 5: HUE (B)
Morning a lovely boat trip on the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda. Transfer by car to visit Tu Duc tomb.
Afternoon visit the Royal Citadel of Hue, enjoy a pleasant walk in this interesting area, then visit the amazingly full Dong Ba market.
Our deaf guide will take you to lunch or diner at Lac Thien restaurant owned by a deaf family (excluded)

Day 6: HUE - DANANG – HOI AN (B)
After breakfast, hotel check-out, take a scenic drive to Hoi An, a very charming ancient town, a World Cultural Heritage site. Stop in Danang to visit a deaf school in Danang. Have lunch at the Bread Of Life in Danang where many deaf people work and live (excluded)
Arrival in Hoian, check-in a hotel. Hoian is the best place for having clothes made overnight with good quality and services

Day 7: HOI AN (B)
Morning enjoy a pleasant city walk in Hoian, visit a museum, a Chinese temple, an old Chinese merchant’s house, the famous Japanese pagoda bridge, and many beautiful shops.
Visit Reaching Out workshop, a charity project where there are deaf people working.
Free time on your own in the afternoon.

Day 8: HOIAN – DANANG - HCMC (B)
Check out the hotel, transfer to airport for flight to HCMC
Upon arrival, transfer to the Cu Chi tunnels where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing an web-like tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of Vietnamese guerrillas during the war against American troops. Learn how the Vietnamese people make rice paper cakes and rice whisky at local workshops.
Afternoon transfer back to HCMC to visit Notre Dam Cathedral, old post office, the War Museum, the Ben Thanh market.

Day 9: HO CHI MINH CITY - CAI BE - MEKONG DELTA (B-L)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Cai Be located on the Upper Branch of the Mighty Mekong River. Enjoy boating on the river, observing the fruit whole sale market in Cai Be, and see the locals producing pop rice, popcorn and other sweets.
Enjoy a nice lunch with local specialties on the boat.
Continue the cruise along Cau Xeo river, enjoy a lovely sampan row through small canals, visit a fruit garden.
Transfer back to HCMC
Day 10: HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Visit a deaf school, a deaf club in HCMC
Free time till transfer to the airport for departure
End of service
