Day 1: ARRIVAL - HCMC:

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in HCMC, meet your deaf guide, transfer to visit Notre Dam Cathedral, old post office, the War Museum, the Ben Thanh market.

Day 2: HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS (B)

8:00 After breakfast, transfer to the Cu Chi tunnels where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing an web-like tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of Vietnamese guerrillas during the war against American troops. Learn how the Vietnamese people make rice paper cakes and rice whisky at local workshops.

Transfer back to HCMC and visit a deaf school, a deaf club in HCMC   

Our deaf guide will introduce you to a café or restaurant where there are deaf people work.

Overnight in HCMC

Day 3: HO CHI MINH CITY - CAI BE - CAN THO MEKONG DELTA (B-L)              

Breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer to Cai Be located on the Upper Branch of the Mighty Mekong River. Enjoy boating on the river, observing the fruit whole sale market in Cai Be, and see the locals producing pop rice, popcorn and other sweets.

Enjoy a nice lunch with local specialties on the boat.

Continue the cruise along fruit orchards in narrow canals to Luc Cu canal where you will take a very nice rowing sampan ride and take a walk to Ut Trinh garden where you will enjoy tropical fruits and traditional music.  Continue the cruise to the city of Vinh Long on the other side of the Mekong River.

Stop to visit a floating house where they raise fish under the house.

Transfer to Can Tho and check in a hotel. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 4: CAN THO - TRA SU - CHAU DOC MEKONG DELTA (B)  

7:00 After breakfast, check out and transfer to visit Cai Rang floating market. Then visit a rice noodle factory, visit An Binh market.

10:00 Transfer to Long Xuyen, have lunch at a local restaurant (excluded)

Continue to visit Tra Su swamp. Arrival in Trasu, enjoy the tours by motor boat, rowing boat, on foot. See the birds (many birds can be spotted late in the afternoon, before dark).

17:00 Transfer by car to check in a hotel in Chau Doc

Overnight in Chau Doc

Day 5: CHAU DOC - SA DEC - HCMC (B)  

Transfer back to HCMC via Sa Dec. Visit the old house of Huynh Thuy Le which is mentioned in the famous novel "the Lover" by Marguerite Duras.

Visit Sa Dec market. Then transfer back to HCMC.

Overnight in HCMC

Day 6: HCMC – DEPARTURE (B)

Free time till transfer to the airport for departure

End of service

Inclusions:
