Day 1: HANOI (D)
Arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, hotel check-in, enjoy a rickshaw ride. Dinner. O/N in Hanoi
Day 2: HANOI (B/L/D)
Hanoi City tour: Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & Residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature (The 1st University of Vietnam), Fine Arts museum, the Old Quarter, water puppet show. O/N in Hanoi
Day 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B-L-D)
Transfer to Halong Bay, a World Natural Heritage site. Check in aboard a deluxe junk and start cruising. Enjoy fabulous seafood, stunning sceneries, and water activities: swimming, kayaking (exclusive), and fishing. Overnight aboard
Day 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI – HUE (B-L-D)
Morning continue the cruise along simply gorgeous sceneries including a very delicious lunch on board. Drive back to Hanoi, flight to Hue, the Former Royal City, a Wold Cultural Heritage. O/N in Hue
Day 5: HUE (B-L-D)
Full day enjoy Hue’s typical features: peaceful, traditional and beautiful.
Activities: enjoy a lovely boat trip on the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda, Tu Duc tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb. Take an excellent motorbike trip with drivers to interesting traditional villages and beautiful sceneries around Hue. Overnight in Hue
Day 6: HUE – HOIAN (B-D)
More city tour of Hue: Hue Royal Citadel, Dong Ba market. Transfer to Hoian, a World Cultural Heritage site. Visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountains in Danang. O/N in Hoian.
Day 7: HOIAN – MY SON HOLY LAND (B –L-D)
Excursion to My Son Holy Land, the former Religious capital of the Cham people, World Cultural Heritage Site with the scenic landscapes and mysterious Cham arts and architecture
City walk in Hoian: visit a museum, a Chinese temple, an old Chinese merchant’s house, the famous Japanese pagoda bridge, and many beautiful shops. O/N in Hoian.
Day 8: HOI AN – HCMC (B-L-D)
Flight to HCMC, excursion to Cu Chi where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing an web-like tunnels system of more than 200km built by Vietnamese guerrillas during the war against American troops. Learn how the Vietnamese people make rice paper cakes and rice whisky at local workshops.
Overnight in HCMC
Day 9: HCMC – MY THO – CHAU DOC (B-L-D)
Check out the hotel and transfer to the Mekong Delta. Stop on the way to visit Cho Lon and China town. Arrival in My Tho, take a wonderful boat ride on the Mekong River, visiting local houses and workshops of coconut candies, fruit gardens, sampan ride through small canals. Lunch with the Vietnamese Southern style (elephant ear fish, big headed prawn, spring rolls, etc). Then transfer on to Chau Doc.
Day 10: CHAU DOC – PHNOM PENH (B-L-D)
Take express boat to cruise along the Mighty Mekong River to Phnom Penh. Enjoy the views of tranquil villages and friendly people. City tour in Phnom Penh: Wat Nom, Toung Sleng Museum, Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace, Russian market. O/N in Phnom Penh
Day 11: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B-L-D)
Flight to Siem Reap, visits to Angkor Wat, truly a World Wonder, Angkor Thom (the Bayon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Elephants), and Phnom Bakheng for Sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 12: SIEM REAP (B-L-D)
Early rise to admire the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Continue visiting Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei, Eastern Baray, Eastern Mebon. Dinner with Apsara dance show. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 13: SIEM REAP – PAKSE (PKZ) – BAN KHONE (B-L-D)
Flight to Pakse in Laos. Transfer on to Ban Khone, a very pleasant island on the Mekong river, stop at Phou Asa for elephant ride. Overnight in Ban Khone
Day 14: BAN KHONE – CHAMPASAK – PAKSE (B-L-D)
Visit French railway, old bridge, Liphi waterfall, boat trip to Khone Papeng the biggest fall in South East Asia, then transfer by road to Champasak, visit Wat Phou, a pleasant Pre-Angkor temple, a World Cultural Heritage, continue transfer to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse
Day 15: PAKSE – LUANG PRABANG (B-L-D)
Flight to Luang Prabang, World Cultural Heritage City snce 1995. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Asia. City walk: seeing the National Museum, climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River, explore Street Night Bazaar. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 16: LUANG PRABANG (B-L-D)
Guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground. Take a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Stop at Ban Xanghai village of making local rice wine, Ban Phanom village famous for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 17: LUANG PRABANG – CHIANG MAI (CNX) (B-L-D)
Flight to Chiang Mai, city tour with a tuk tuk ride around the old city and onward to visit Bo Sang handicraft village. Then drive by bus to Doi Su Thep, cable car to the summit. Enjoy traditional Khan Tok dinner
Day 18: CHIANG MAI – ELEPHANT SAFARI – CHIANG MAI (B-L-D)
Enjoy a pleasant day with excursion to Elephant camp, watch the elephants at work, take exciting elephant ride and cow-cart ride, enjoy a very pleasant bamboo drafting, visit a beautiful orchid garden and an interesting paper factory made from elephant dung. Evening walk to Night Barzar. Overnight in Chiang Mai
Day 19: CHIANG MAI – BANGKOK (B-L-D)
Take the Express day train to Bangkok. Enjoy beautiful sceneries along the ride. Overnight in Bangkok
Day 20: BANGKOK (B-L-D)
Full day enjoy city tour in Bangkok, boat trip on Chao Phraya River, visit Wat Arun, the Grand Royal Palace, Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho and shopping at plenty of shops and Cha Tu Chak weekend market if available. Enjoy Calypso Ladyboy show. Overnight in Bangkok
Day 21: BANGKOK – RANGOON (B-L-D)
Flight to Rangoon, city tour: Drive through colonial buildings, China town, Indian quarter, stop at Kandawgyi for taking photos, visit the splendid Shwedagon pagoda and Scott market. Dinner at Karaweik Palace restaurant with a live dancing performance.
Day 22: RANGOON – BAGAN (B-L-D)
Morning flight to Bagan, City tour: visit Nyaung U market, Shwezigon pagoda, Htilominlo temple, Ananda temple, Thabyinya temple. Take horse-cart excursion to a lacquer ware factory, follow sand paths through villages, groups of stupas, the countryside, stop at Minanthu village and Shwe San Daw temple for sunset. O/N in Bagan
Day 23 : BAGAN – HEHO – INLE LAKE (B-L-D)
Morning flight to Heho, drive to Inle Lake, transfer to the hotel by boat. Be delighted by the first boat trip on Inle Lake, a photographer’s dream: floating vegetable gardens, jumping cats monastery, silk weaving place, cigar making place, photo hunting on the lake. O/N at a resort in the lake
Day 24: INLE LAKE (B-L-D)
Second pleasant boat trip on the lake: cruising to an interesting market of that day, one of the most scenic boat trip to Indaing, more photo hunting. Overnight in Inle Lake
Day 25: INLE LAKE – HEHO – RANGOON – BANGKOK (B-L-D)
Morning flight to Rangoon, switch to international terminal for flight to Bangkok. Free time for shopping and relaxation in Bangkok
Day 26: DEPARTURE HOME SWEET HOME (B)
Free time till transfer to the airport for home departure
